Media Literacy and Critical Thinking Development
On February 12, 2020, Tazo Jojua, a member of Youth Center of the Young Pedagogues Union, conducted a peer-to-peer training on "Media Literacy and Critical Thinking Development" in the village Askani Public School.
The information meeting was aimed at improving the participants' media literacy skills, raising awareness about false information and propaganda.
Trainings will continue both in the physical space and through online platforms.
The meeting was held under the auspices of the Civic Awareness and Integration Support Program PITA, which is implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Program partner organization in Guria - "Young Teachers Union".
