Presentation of the project
On May 12, 15 and 16, with the facilitation of the Young Pedagogues Union, 4 partners from Kvemo Kartli region organized a presentation of the project "Skills Development and Innovative Employment Opportunities for Regional Development of Georgia" and a training on "Development of Entrepreneurship Competence".
The training covered topical issues such as:
Value-based pedagogy
EU Competency Framework, Entrepreneurial Competence
Ways to develop entrepreneurial skills, activities in a general education institution
The need for change in the educational institution and so on.
The training was led by invited trainer-consultant Manana Jincharadze.
Due to the complicated epidemiological situation in the country and in the Kvemo Kartli region, the training was conducted remotely, using the zoom platform.
The goal of establishing entrepreneurship and career development clubs in public schools is to help children living in the regions develop career management and entrepreneurship skills.
The trainings were conducted with the support of the European Union (EU) and Bread for the World (Brot) in the framework of the project "Skill Building and Innovative Employment Opportunities for Regional Development of Georgia", which is carried out by the Georgian Strategic Studies and Development Center (CSRDG), together with the Young Pedagogues Union (YPU) and the Georgian Civic Development Association (GCDA).
