Presentation of research report
On June 18, 2019, the Young Pedagogues’ Union conducted a presentation of our research report, which assessed the quality of program reintegration (one’s return from the state care system to the biological family).
The presentation was attended by IDPs from the occupied territories of Georgia, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, LEPL Social Service Agency, the Public Defender's Office, the Association of Social Workers and the NGOs in Child Welfare.
After the presentation a discussion was held. The attendees talked about the problematic issues in the family as a result of the research, as well as the necessary changes that should systematically alter the current situation of children and families involved in the reintegration program.
