On July 25-26, employees of the home for the elderly were trained in motivational interviewing.

Participants learned the essence of motivational interviewing and theoretical information on interviewing techniques. They themselves trained in the use of motivational interviewing techniques. At the training, the participants also discussed the possibilities of using motivational interviewing in practice.

The training was conducted within the framework of the three-year project "Development of rights-based social services for persons with disabilities and the elderly", which is implemented by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), together with Young Pedagogies Union (YPU) and the Association for the Protection of Public Interests of Georgia (GPIDA).
