"Development of Entrepreneurial Skills and Project Training in General Education Institutions"

Within the project "Capacity Building and Innovative Employment Opportunities for Georgia's Regional Development", a training cycle for 11 partner public school administrations and teachers in Guria, Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti was completed.
The training "Development of Entrepreneurial Skills and Project Training in General Education Institutions" included such topical issues as:
Value-based pedagogy
EU Competency Framework, Entrepreneurial Competence
Ways to develop entrepreneurial skills, activities in a general education institution
The need for change in the educational institution and so on
The meeting was facilitated by the invited trainer-consultant Manana Jincharadze.
The training was conducted remotely, using the zoom platform, individually for each school and a total of 203 representatives from 11 partner schools participated.
The purpose of setting up "idea and entrepreneurship labs" in public schools is to help children in the regions develop career management and entrepreneurship skills.
The trainings were conducted with the support of the European Union (EU) and Bread for the World (Brot) in the framework of the project "Skill Building and Innovative Employment Opportunities for Regional Development of Georgia", which is carried out by Georgia Strategic Studies and Development Center (CSRDG), together with the Young Teachers Union (YPU) and the Georgian Civic Development Association (GCDA).
